Hello there!

Welcome to our website. We are Diann and Tony Voyce the owners and operators of Broadway Motel & Miro Court Villas. As mentioned the two complexes are on adjoining properties but are run from the one office on Broadway.

We bought the lease of Broadway Motel in 1982 “to try it out” with 3 daughters under 5 years old. We certainly got “tried out” or should I say “tired out”. But bye and large, it’s been a rewarding 36 years, surviving the eighties depression and later having the opportunity to buy the freehold title.

Over the years we have added 4 units, renovated older units, and purchased an adjoining property and built the Miro Court Villas, making a total of 20 units of all shapes and sizes.

We have enjoyed our clients' company and have made some very good friends with a lot of returning clientele. The Matamata community has been fantastic and supported us well.

So from 1982 with no knowledge of what we were doing until now, has been a long journey, but we now have a very modern, up to date complex and business of which we are proud of. Back then, we would never have dreamt that we’d be here 36 years later and to live in a township connected with one of the most popular movies made “The Hobbit”.
