We appreciate that only given short notice you were able to offer your hospitality to our family (6 of us plus our new grand daughter). This has been our 6th trip to Matamata in the last 2 years and your facilities help make it a home away from home. Apart from returning to visit family we find Broadway Motel so central to both town and for day trips in the Waikato and beyond.

Booked here as google reviews rated it the best and it absolutely was. Room was modern clean fresh and spacious. Very warm and comfortable. Facilities were excellent and spotless. Especially enjoyed the hot spa after doing the Wairere Falls Track (which I recommend) the kids enjoyed the pool and the playground. Perfect place for a family. Had everything you need from toiletries to coffee and tea. Great location not far from Hobbiton or Wairere Falls. Owners were friendly and welcoming. Thoroughly enjoyed our time here will def be back.

"We originally planned to stay only 1 night, as part of a visit to Hobbiton, but after seeing the room, the kids begged to stay 2 nights, and that was no problem with us.
What a great motel. Everything was perfect, from a great sized, modern room, to a super pool and even being able to dry the clothes on the clothesline. Matamata is a very nice town, and this motel is within walking distance to the stores/cafes on main street. We had a very relaxing stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this motel to our friends."

"With no forward plans or knowledge of accommodation in Matamata we made a random choice of motel when we arrived in town. What a lucky choice. The first room we were shown has been recently renovated and refurbished and looked just lovely and was very reasonably priced considering the superior furnishings. I'm sure it would satisfy the fussiest of travellers. However, having been travelling for a month the budget was getting a bit strained and we inquired if there was anything cheaper. The room we were given, yet to be renovated but very clean and well presented, was wonderful value, with full kitchen, large bathroom, 2 sleeping areas, large TV and a sliding door opening on to the spacious grassy garden/ playground area.
What a wonderful place for families - swimming pool, large trampoline, sandpit, playground equipment and an assortment of a dozen or more bikes, trikes and pedal car. The adults are catered for with a spa and a collection of bean bags on the lawns. The owners certainly go out of their way to provide that little bit extra to make staying here a very pleasant experience."

"This was my motel of choice for a mystery golf trip for 27 ladies from the Rangatira Golf club and we couldn't have found a better place to stay, very clean, quiet, very accommodating. The hosts were extremely helpful, giving us directions to the restaurants within walking distance, and everywhere else we needed to go, thank you Diann and Tony, I will certainly recommend your motel to anyone going in your direction. PS: Beds were very very comfortable."
